Tech Mahindra has been recognized among the Top 100 Corporate Startup Stars (CSS) in 2023, the worldwide Open Innovation award run annually by ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) and Mind the Bridge (the organiser). Tech Mahindra was recognized for bringing forward world-class open innovation practices and for fostering corporate-startup collaborations globally through Makers Lab. The award was collected by Philippe LY CONG TRINH, Vice President and Country Head, France for Tech Mahindra.
The award ceremony held on December 7 in Paris witnessed the presence of Mariya Gabriel, Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Milena Stoycheva, Ministry of Innovation and Growth of Bulgaria, Carlos Santiso, Head of Division Digital, Innovative, Open Government OECD - OCDE and András G. Inotai, Head of Unit, Innovation Policy and Access to Finance, DG Research & Innovation, European Commission.
As part of the selection process, the ICC team screened over 3000 organisations for this award. Tech Mahindra and Tata Group are the only Indian businesses to receive the Open Innovation award this year. Other noteworthy global winners are ABB, Airbus, SAP, Mastercard, Ericsson, Microsoft, to name a few.
