5G for Networks

Tech Mahindra is investing in building the 5G labs, CoEs, platforms and capabilities. 5G network will be disaggregated and truly cloud native. We continue to expand our integration capabilities and offering for network integration through our VNF-Xchange. We are continuing to build platforms spanning Telco Cloud, Orchestration and RAN virtualization in collaboration with our partners. Further we believe that open source is going to play a key role in 5G.

We see a huge convergence from 5G into our enterprise business and sectors such as Manufacturing, Healthcare and Smart cities. They make compulsive case for 5G adoption in light of low latency and private LTE.

IoT Engineering

Being the enablers of connectivity and the amount of data telcos has over the years, telecom providers are uniquely positioned to lead the way in IoT both in the enterprise segment and the consumer segments. The success of IoT in telcos is going be dependent on the ecosystem they create along with device manufacturers, industry verticals, application integration etc.
